"Whitest Taíno Alive" is a hip-hop group from Santo Domingo that combines Spanglish rap with elements of 80s Dominican pop culture and modern slang. Named in homage to the indigenous Taíno people and inspired by The Whitest Boy Alive, I've had the privilege of designing their visual identity from the start, creating everything from logos and album covers to flyers and concert tickets. Additionally, I developed the lifestyle brand Choperia Fina, drawing inspiration from Dominican baseball culture to enhance the group's dynamic presence.

Whitest Taino Alive
For the launch of Jack Daniel’s in the Dominican Republic—a market dominated by rum and Scotch whisky—I designed an immersive experience that took advantage of Halloween. Celebrating Jack Daniel's 162-year legacy, I paired the event with two Dominican American performers and crafted a vintage horror film theme. I designed a series of movie titles featuring the artists' names and slogans, then composited these visuals using live VJ software to project them over the stage, creating a theatrical and immersive atmosphere that brought the event to life.

Additionally, La Quincena compiles its investigative reporting quarterly, creating printed archives that further extend the brand's reach and impact. This design strategy not only enhances viewer engagement but also solidifies the channel’s presence in a competitive digital landscape.
